Here are some life hacks I learnt from a young age from my mom, who I highly suspect is an undiagnosed ADHDer:
- She taught me to set all my clocks 5 minutes fast so that I’m less likely to be late.
- Whenever she has something important to remember, she writes it down on her hand with a pen. (This was before smartphones existed.)
- She drinks her coffee from a flask so that it doesn’t get cold. (She sometimes forgets about the coffee.)
- My family has a whiteboard near our living room, where we write down all our appointments, important contact numbers and things we need to remember.
